That is, until my husband decided to make rice crispy rice in his spare time.
It was such a fun and challenging recipe to make that he made it a regular family favorite.
The flavor combination was a hit and I was able to keep a lot of things in the house while I was away.
I love this recipe for rice crispy chicken, rice crispy potatoes, rice crisp bread, and rice crispy gravy.
The recipe calls for maris rice but I use sweet corn instead because it’s so delicious.
For this recipe, I use a small bag of cooked rice with a little bit of butter.
The rice crisps up quickly in the pan and the sweet corn gives a nice texture and adds a nice kick to the dish.
It makes a nice addition to any rice crispy recipe.
Ingredients: 2 cups cooked maris or sweet corn
